I heard the sound,

dull smash of shatterproof glass,

everything stopped in the parking lot,

for a little girl face down on the ground,

we all knew that she gone,

all came near, no nothing was said,

I had never seen somebody dead,

for me everything changed

understand I was very high,

I just quit my job, no I just got fired

the day she died for me everything changed

could’ve been the shame of not even trying,

could’ve been the blood in her matted hair,

or how regrets of the dying are added to the air

éclat terne de verre incassable,

tout s'est arrêté sur le parking,

pour une petite fille face contre terre,

nous savions tous qu'elle était partie,

tout s'est approché, rien n'a été dit,

Je n'avais jamais vu quelqu'un mort,

comprendre que j'étais très défoncé,

Je viens de quitter mon travail, non, je viens de me faire virer

le jour où elle est morte pour moi tout a changé

ça aurait pu être la honte de ne même pas essayer,

aurait pu être le sang dans ses cheveux emmêlés,

ou comment les regrets des mourants s'ajoutent à l'air
