I have often dreamed, of a far-off place

Where a hero’s welcome, would be waiting for me

Where the crowds will cheer, when they see my face

And a voice keeps sayin', «This is where I’m meant to be.»

I’ll be there someday, I can go the distance

And I find my way, if I can be strong

I know every mile, will be worth my while

When I go the distance, I’ll be right where I belong

Down an unknown road, to embrace my fate

Though the road may wander, it will lead me to you

And a thousand years, would be worth my wait

It may take a lifetime, but somehow I’ll see it through

And I won’t look back, I can go the distance

And I’ll stay on track, no I won’t accept defeat

It’s an uphill slope, but I won’t lose hope

Till I go the distance, and my journey is complete

But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part

For a hero’s strength is measured by his heart

Like a shining star, I can go the distance

I will search the world, I will face it’s harms

I don’t care how far, I can go the distance

Till I find my hero’s welcome, waiting in your arms

J'ai souvent rêvé d'un endroit lointain

Où un héros est le bienvenu, m'attendrait

Où les foules applaudiront, quand elles verront mon visage

Et une voix n'arrête pas de dire : "C'est là que je dois être."

Je serai là un jour, je peux tenir la distance

Et je trouve mon chemin, si je peux être fort

Je connais chaque kilomètre, ça vaudra mon temps

Quand je parcourrai la distance, je serai là où j'appartiens

Sur une route inconnue, pour embrasser mon destin

Même si la route vagabonde, elle me conduira à toi

Et mille ans, ça vaudrait la peine d'attendre

Cela peut prendre toute une vie, mais d'une manière ou d'une autre, je vais y arriver

Et je ne regarderai pas en arrière, je peux tenir la distance

Et je resterai sur la bonne voie, non je n'accepterai pas la défaite

C'est une pente ascendante, mais je ne perdrai pas espoir

Jusqu'à ce que je parcours la distance et que mon voyage soit terminé

Mais regarder au-delà de la gloire est la partie la plus difficile

Car la force d'un héros se mesure à son cœur

Comme une étoile brillante, je peux tenir la distance

Je vais parcourir le monde, je vais faire face à ses méfaits

Je me fiche de la distance, je peux tenir la distance

Jusqu'à ce que je trouve l'accueil de mon héros, attendant dans tes bras
