Kamelot
Kamelot est un groupe de metal américain formé en 1991 aux États-Unis par Thomas Youngblood et Richard Warner. Le groupe pratique un power metal symphonique intégrant des influences d'autres genres. Son nom fait référence à la cité mythique de Camelot, avec une orthographe volontairement erronée. Malgré ses origines, Kamelot est reconnu pour son style musical « européen ». Parmi ses albums les plus acclamés figurent "The Black Halo" et "Epica" qui ont rencontré un vif succès auprès de la critique et des fans du genre. Le groupe a contribué de manière significative au développement de l'epic metal, en combinant des orchestrations complexes à un chant puissant.
