The false have worshipped Him, the true have revered Him

He whose fate, the spinning world lies

And the dreams of an ancient sign, of a shadow far from time

And the priest whose next in line, bloodied hand on poisoned vine

In the light of the pure green ray, of the elder ones that stayed

And a world that’s far away, in a night where there is no day

Few have seen His dreams, or heard the silent screams

Chained to this world, Rex Mundi…

Lord of creation, child of the black sun

Dans le Nord lointain, au-delà des Sables de l'Est

Des vents du Sud, loin des terres occidentales

Il forgea un trône de l'ombre, et les neuf qu'il enseigna

D'un futur royaume, d'un temps lointain

Les sages l'ont cherché, et les braves l'ont combattu

Les faux l'ont adoré, les vrais l'ont vénéré

Celui dont le destin, le monde qui tourne, réside

Dans les montagnes, loin des cieux anciens

Et les rêves d'un signe ancien, d'une ombre loin du temps

Et le prêtre dont le prochain en ligne, la main ensanglantée sur la vigne empoisonnée

À la lumière du pur rayon vert, des plus âgés qui sont restés

Et un monde lointain, dans une nuit où il n'y a pas de jour

Peu de gens ont vu ses rêves ou entendu les cris silencieux

Enchaîné à ce monde, Rex Mundi…
