Of wilderness and ruin - Fen

Many have been those who walked before me

But few now remain on these blasted paths

Where once we stood and gathered as one

Fragmented now are those of the unbound

We stood and watched as the sky turned to fire

And the sacred hollows of old were sundered

Eclipsed by the dawn of a new era

There is nothing for me now above or below this Earth

For what long ago was held to is no more

A hollow shell, a shattered conceit

Condemning the memories of a thousand generations

To the abyss of the forgotten

My eyes shimmer as they fall upon the ruins

Loss scars my spirit

My vehemence carries on cold, death-charged winds

It burns through me, scars my veins

And wracks the remains of an already tormented spirit

Rage and despair entwine

And a broken man surrenders

I lay and stared as the soils turned to dust

And the last of the stars died

Eclipsed by the dusk of finality

There is nothing

Où autrefois nous nous tenions et nous rassemblions comme un seul

Fragmentés maintenant sont ceux du délié

Nous sommes restés debout et avons regardé le ciel se transformer en feu

Et les creux sacrés d'autrefois ont été scindés

Éclipsé par l'aube d'une nouvelle ère

Il n'y a rien pour moi maintenant au-dessus ou au-dessous de cette Terre

Car ce à quoi il était tenu il y a longtemps n'est plus

Une coquille creuse, une vanité brisée

Condamnant les mémoires d'un millier de générations

Vers l'abîme des oubliés

Mes yeux scintillent alors qu'ils tombent sur les ruines

La perte marque mon esprit

Ma véhémence porte des vents froids et mortels

Ça me brûle, cicatrise mes veines

Et détruit les restes d'un esprit déjà tourmenté

La rage et le désespoir s'entremêlent

Et un homme brisé se rend

Je suis allongé et j'ai regardé les sols se transformer en poussière

Et la dernière des étoiles est morte

Eclipsé par le crépuscule de la finalité
